It’s been quite a whirlwind these past 24 hours, I’m in the heart of pre-party chaos! It’s still too far out to say how I’m doing on timing, but I am feeling good about how frequently I’ve been crossing things off my list!
It looks so strange with the dinning table pushed to the wall! And it looks like I’ll have to raise that pendant lamp…
It all started with a very big Fresh Direct order

After making two marinates (for pulled pork and chicken wings) my poor stove took a beating!

Lili Bitting 
The quality, scope, creativity, and overall deliciousity (a word only appropriate when describing Lili’s party food) of last night’s spread was unprecedented. Though I’m unable to pick a favorite food, the top three masterpieces of culinary delight were the Bourbon Carmel Pecan Popcorn, Homemade Pulled Pork with Coleslaw, and Barley Salad with greens, mushrooms and smoked sausage. Not even sure of the exact names of these dishes, but I could potentially live the rest of my life eating all three and nothing more. Thanks for a fabulous party (oh was it for the superbowl? oops, I thought it was all about the food and delightful setting/company!).
